A HUMAN STORY, A TECHNOLOGY TO EXPLORE FOR THE WELL-BEING OF TOMORROW ...
Imagine, in our context of ecological transition, a world where mobility will be possible without fossil fuels and will no longer emit CO2. It is the flight of a lifetime by Raphaël DINELLI : pilot, navigator, researcher and advocate of the energies of the future. It is in this perspective that his MISSION E-XPLORER, an extraordinary technological and human challenge, is inscribed :
• Achieve the first ‘zero emission’ round-the-world trip tandem and non-stop at the controls of ERAOLE II, the first hybrid electric liquid/solar hydrogen aircraft.
• Integrate and develop this collaborative project in the mobility ecosystem, exploring technologies of the future (hydrogen embedded in aeronautics, naval etc ...) for the general interest and our planet.
• Contribute, through applied R&D and then industrial transfer following the challenge, to take aviation and green mobility to a concrete and short-term level.
ONE GOAL: A STRONG STORY OF EXPERIENCE
TANDEM AND NON-STOP ‘ZERO EMISSION’ ROUND THE WORLD FLIGHT
An extraordinary human and technological adventure: the first Round the World Trip by air tandem non-stop and ‘zero emission’! For this historic flight, Raphaël DINELLI will implement technologies combining 15 m3 of liquid hydrogen at -254° C (a technique used in space by the thrusters of the Ariane rocket) and solar energy.
A PIONEERING FEAT IN THE AIR - TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT 2027
It will be a world first, an extraordinary human and technological adventure : the first transatlantic flight New York-Paris ‘zero emission’, scheduled for May 26, 2027 ... 100 years to the day after the mythical flight of Charles LINDBERGH.
AN EXTREME PREPARATORY RACE ON THE SEA - VENDÉE GLOBE 2024
Seasoned sailor, Raphaël DINELLI wants to make his big return to the Vendée Globe 2024 (he would become co-record holder of the event with 5 participations), in the extreme condition of this ‘Everest of the seas’, aiming for a double objective.
AN INITIAL SPORTING AND ECOLOGICAL STAGE - THE ARCH 2022/2023
After the success of THE BRIDGE 1, its creator Damien GRIMONT launches THE ARCH, ‘Tour of Carbon-Free Europe’ by an ecological armada. He invited Raphaël DINELLI to participate in this race and his collaborative approach for the future of clean mobility. The opportunity for Raphaël to launch his future experimental IMOCA, embarking on a new energy technology, based on liquid hydrogen.
THE ERAOLE START-UP TO GET GREEN AVIATION OFF THE GROUND - 2021
From now on, Raphaël DINELLI aims higher with a transfer of technology from the Laboratory to a start-up. start-up.
ERAOLE I - THE BIRTH OF AN AIRCRAFT OF THE FUTURE
After the Vendée Globe, the Laboratoire Océan Vital created by Raphaël DINELLI produces other mobile examples running on renewable energies. October 20 2016: first flight of its ERAOLE I aircraft, a biplane aircraft with a multi-hybrid system.
A WORLD PREMIERE ON THE VENDÉE GLOBE
It is at the helm of Océan Vital, a solar and wind ‘sailboat-laboratory’, that Raphaël DINELLI participated in 2008 in his 4th Vendée Globe. He finished 10th in the event but was victorious in his challenge.

Raphaël DINELLI - Team Manager of plane project
Multi-entrepreneur, engineer-navigator or lecturer, the eco-adventurer and energy booster of the future Raphaël Dinelli, occupies both the position of project manager of the E-XPLORER mission and Team Manager of the aircraft project in 2027 .
Damien GRIMONT - Team Manager of boat project
President of Profil Grand Large in Vannes, Damien Grimont specializes in the design and organization of meaningful events such as The Bridge 2017 or The Arch in 2021. More recently as part of the E-XPLORER mission, Damien GRIMONT has agreed to carry out the boat project until the Vendée Globe 2024.
Sylvain MAUSSION - Marketing manager / partnership
President and Director of EMSYLADO based in Angers, Sylvain Maussion, an expert in marketing consulting and business development, directs marketing and partnership operations as part of the E-XPLORER mission.
Eric DOUGÉ - communication manager / public relation
A long-time friend of Raphaël Dinelli but also a specialist in the field of communication and journalism for many years, Eric Dougé ensures, thanks to his company Eric Dougé Communication, the communication and public relations part of the E-XPLORER mission.

Founder and director of the international firm AVETA GLOBAL: Sébastien supports companies in GREENTECH projects. He is in charge of relations with sponsors and patrons of the E-XPLORER Mission.
